Siemens Healthcare has appointed Jane Kilkenny to the role of MR Product Manager. She will head up the team of product and application specialists and spearhead growth in the year ahead.
Jane brings 20 years of MR experience to the role. She trained as a radiographer at Pinderfields General Hospital, Wakefield, before moving to the North West where she worked as a Senior Radiographer at the Walton Centre for Neurology and Neurosurgery and Preston Royal Infirmary. Jane also worked for a number of years as the MRI Superintendent Radiographer at Blackpool Victoria Hospital before joining Siemens as an MR Applications Specialist.
In her new management role, Jane will be responsible for growing the Siemens MRI installation base in the UK and keeping existing customers fully informed about new products and applications.
Jane states, “The field of MR is continually evolving, offering more clinical pathways to help develop procedures and uncover deeper information for diagnosis and research purposes. I am delighted to take the position of MR Product Manager and look forward to working closely with existing NHS, independent and research based customers, plus building new relationships to grow market share.”
Outside of work, Jane likes socialising with friends and family and enjoys a range of outdoor pursuits including mountain biking and snowboarding.
