CompuGroup subsidiary Promed have agreed a €1.2m deal with Axa for the Turkish company to improve the efficiency of the insurance firm’s Turkish health claims by 15%.
CompuGroup, who have an 80% share of the Turkish market, will use intelligent software and decision support systems to provide management for Axa as they insure patients scheduled for treatments.
The deal guards Axa against making invoicing errors, expensive extensions to the diagnostic and treatment process, whilst also allowing them to cut accountancy and management costs. Promed will do this by liaising with hospitals about whether Axa will assume responsibility for patient treatments, as well as monitoring medical procedures and passing on information if discrepancies are discovered.
Jan Broer, Chief Marketing Officer of Compugroup said, “Our overarching aim is to increase the efficiency of the health system by 15% by deploying intelligent software. We are delighted that this order has been awarded to CompuGroup, Our innovative products in particular clearly demonstrate that decision support has become a key success factor for healthcare providers and that it has firmly established itself alongside medical treatment and technology as the third main pillar of the healthcare system.”
