Merseyside-based MSoft eSolutions has just been selected to provide its innovative blood-tracking systems to Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust.
This means that the company won all eight tenders which it bid for during the last financial year.
Hull has chosen MSoft’s Bloodhound solution for its two principal hospitals – Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital.
Bloodhound controls access to and from all blood fridges with rigorous security and safety ensuring that only approved staff are allowed to access blood. The firm’s blood-tracking solution provides positive identification of users and patients and in depth auditing of all bloods across each and every stage of the transfusion process – to help get the right blood into the right patient.
Matt McAlister, Managing Director of MSoft eSolutions, said:
“To win eight out of eight tenders during the last financial year is a fitting reward for all the hard work and dedication of the MSoft team. Customers tell us they like the fact that we are flexible, respond to their specific needs, move quickly and are constantly looking to innovate and improve upon the products and service we offer.”
The other Trusts to have selected MSoft eSolutions during the past year are Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust, Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust, East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust, Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust, Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and East Cheshire NHS Trust.
