The WHO Regional Office for Europe, together with 24 countries and partners, will launch European Immunisation Week from 16th to 22nd of April.
This initiative, which began over a year ago with the involvement of only 9 countries, has grown considerable. it will now take place in the following 24 countries representing 57% of the population of the WHO European Region.
European Immunisation Week is an annual initiative to boost awareness and increase the success of immunisation programmes through communication and advocacy. A special focus is placed on activities for accessing hard-to-reach and vulnerable groups.
