Matrox Graphics Inc, the leading manufacturer of specialised graphics solutions, is pleased to announce that Image Diagnost International (IDI) GmbH has selected the Matrox Xenia Series display controller boards  for their MammoWorkstation product lines.

IDI’s unique integrated structured reporting solution and seamless connectivity work in harmony to improve your turnaround time and control your clinical workflow.

High-performance viewing tools are easily accessible with a click of your mouse and the user interface is ergonomically designed to simplify your navigation and improve your viewing comfort.

“Matrox is very pleased that Image Diagnost has selected the Matrox Xenia Pro for its diagnostic MammoWorkstation product lines,” says George Rigas, Business Development Manager for Medical Imaging, Matrox Graphics Inc.

“We believe the combination of IDI’s extensive experience and track record, together with the Matrox Xenia Pro for fast image manipulation, will deliver superior diagnostic level mammography solutions with improved workflow efficiency, pristine image quality, and a better end user experience.”

Matrox Xenia is the first native PCI Express single-slot board with all-digital, triple-monitor output and the flexibility to drive practically any known display configuration. Xenia Series supports resolutions from under 1MP up to 8MP, with up to 1GB of on-board memory, and features new technology to ensure optimum display calibration (via Matrox DLC and 8/10/13-bit gamma LUTs).

“With the Matrox Xenia Pro, we can offer our customers outstanding graphics performance,” says Jose Abellan-Martinez, Managing Director, Image Diagnost.

“This fits with our strategy to deliver the most efficient workflow experience for digital mammography.”

Xenia Series is a flexible and expandable solution, that provides medical imaging developers and integrators looking for leading edge technology the development potential for increasing hardware-accelerated performance via hardware LUTs, multiple hardware window IDs, and additional hardware features.
