An international employee benefits company has reached three direct settlement agreements with hospitals in Turkey.
Jinemed Medical Center, Yeditepe University Hospital and Acibadem Health Group, who all operate hospitals or health centres in Istanbul (and Bursa and Kocaeli in the case of Acibadem), will submit their invoices for patient care to CIGNA International Expatriate Benefits (CIEB).
“These new relationships in Turkey are a substantial addition to our worldwide network offering,” said Cindy Gatanis, manager of provider services at CIEB.
Jinemed Medical Center is the leading provider of obstetric and gynaecological services in Turkey. Its medical centres also specialise in paediatrics, general dentistry, gastroenterology, dermatology, orthopaedics, urology and ear, nose and throat conditions.
The Acibadem Health Group includes six hospitals and seven medical centres, and also operates an ophthalmology centre and an outpatient clinic. All Acibadem’s hospitals and medical centres have Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation.
Yeditepe University Hospital is a private hospital specialising in oncology, cardiology, organ transplants, ophthalmology, and orthopaedics. Yeditepe also is JCI-accredited and is licensed to perform kidney, liver and pancreas transplants.
