Lincor Solutions, Ltd, a provider of digital bedside systems based in Ireland, is currently showcasing its flagship MEDIVista solution at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society conference, HIMSS08 in Florida, USA.
The Dublin-based company’s appearance at the show follows a recent agreement with Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck, New Jersey, USA to provide their MEDIVista solution within its 397 hospital beds in the facility.
“We are delighted to be able to work with such a respected institution as Holy Name Hospital,” said Richard Cooke, Chief Executive of Lincor Solutions. “Our agreement with Holy Name represents an affirmation of the high quality and performance of Lincor’s MEDIVista solution.”
Lincor’s patented MEDIVista application is a complete, integrated fully digital patient entertainment and clinical access solution at the patient bedside in hospitals.
It provides triple-play entertainment and information services to patients as well as providing access to clinical applications such as electronic patient records and x-ray images for medical personnel to use at the bedside of patients.
Lincor currently has over 8,500 bedside solutions now deployed in over 30 hospitals worldwide. MEDIVista is designed to enhance patient wellbeing by having access to familiar communication and entertainment services such as broadband, e-mail, TV, movies–on–demand, hospital specific content, interactive games and telephony.
At the same time, hospital staff can utilise MEDIVista to enhance efficiency, safety and productivity through the ability to access clinical applications at the point-of-care. The product features access to electronic patient records, picture archiving and communication systems (PACS) and medication management services.
