Paul Sysmans, the former Vice President and General Manager of EMEA at Orex Computed Radiography Ltd and Global Manager for the Business Partner Program at Carestream Health Inc, has been announced as the new chief executive officer at 3mensio Medical Imaging BV.
3mensio’s founding CEO, Frank Wessel will be taking on a new role as the company’s CTO, with Sysman taking over his previous position.
Sysman, who has played an important role in the healthcare informatics, medical devices and consumables market, has a lot of experience to bring with this new appointed role.
Frank Wessel said: “Paul is exactly the right leader for 3mensio. His background within both large and small companies, European and global cross-cultural understanding, complements the efforts that 3mensio is making in defining a strong position in medical imaging.”
Sysman brings 25 years experience along to 3mensio and his strong skills in strategic planning and channel management will enable him to perform well within his new role.

The company, based in the Netherlands, have developed valuable yet affordable applications for radiology (3viseon) and surgery (3surgery) departments throughout the world, by implementing technology derived from the computer gaming industry into the medical imaging field.
