Mobile surgical facility experts Vanguard Healthcare, the global innovator boasting a track record of working with nearly every NHS hospital in the UK, will be attending the 14th annual Healthcare Conference in Westminster, London, on 21st October.
The event will bring together senior professionals in the public and private sectors, and facilitate discussions between the NHS, Social Services and the independent and voluntary sectors on the significant challenges and opportunities in health and social care.
This will be the fourth consecutive year that Vanguard, the operator of the world’s largest fleet of ‘pop-up hospitals’, has participated and sponsored the prestigious conference.
Representing Vanguard in these top level discussions will be Ian Gillespie, Chief Executive at Vanguard Healthcare. Other notable attendees include Lord Norman Warner, former Minister of State, Department of Health, and the Rt Hon Paul Burstow, former Minister of State, Department of Health.
This event is being held against the background of the new Health and Social Care legislation, the Care and Support Bill before Parliament and the implementation of the highly anticipated Dilnot care cost structure. Discussions during the day will cover topics such as new models of integrated care, new approaches to services and how the current period of austerity could affect funding of health and social care in the next 5-10 years.
Ian Gillespie, Chief Executive, commented: “We’re looking forward to attending the LCS healthcare conference once again, which is always a highlight in the year for us, and to playing a full and active part in the on-going and important discussions about current and future issues in the healthcare sector.”
LCS International Consulting is the leading research and buy-side analyst within the health care sector. It has been running annual conferences for 14 years that bring together thought leaders across the healthcare sector to debate key issues they are facing and how best they can be solved.
